How I make my Triangle Quilt Blocks

How to Quilt

I have been sewing  triangle quilt block for share with you.

For me making a quilt block starts with squares and triangles and this is the way I learned to do they SO many years ago. Of course there are new methods, do and use what you like, you do YOU!

How to make Triangles
Take the finished size, add 7/8″ to it and that’s the size you cut your square

Sew Good to good fabric, with a pencil draw a line corner to corner, this is
The line you measure your ¼” seam allowance from
Sew from edge to edge use a ¼” seam

Pin Wheel Quilt Pattern

Any Color will DO ! ! !

I love quilt patterns, changing and rearranging the pieces into something new makes me happy.  Sharing them is one of my favorites too.  Today’s finished quilt block is eight inches by eight inches.  Please don’t let the size overwhelm you, the quilt squares are cut one at a half and the triangles are two and a half, nothing hard to do.(cut 2 7/8″)

This is a wonderful quilt pattern to move color around the block. Maybe try the triangle as one color and square another??  Have FUN
